Wellness

What does it mean to be well? We use the term “well” extensively in our vocabulary but do we really know what we mean when we say we are well. Moreover do we believe it when we tell others we are well?  We define “wellness’ through our Sarvanga methodology as having all aspects of your life as best as they can be. This is a wonderful journey of self-exploration. It is an intensive self-study of many aspects of your life. It is an eye opener often to look at all aspects as a whole.

We explore nutrition, fitness, mental state, financial state, relationships, passions, self-talk, home and work environments, and creativity. Through this self-exploration you will start to prioritize the changes that need to take place first. It is through your own self–exploration that a plan develops for change. It happens very organically. While many changes are simply common sense, we often need a guide to help us find a path and get on with the journey of change. Change can be very hard; especially if we are changing very old habits, it helps to have a coach keep you on track. Many of our clients say, “Well I have been saying for years I needed to do that” and yet they only make the change when being facilitated to do so!

Our role as coaches and facilitators is not to tell you what to do. It is to take you through a journey of realization so that your own intuition is awakened to know what it is you must do to be Well.

This journey is an investment in yourself, can you think of anything else you would rather invest in? When we are living at our fullest potential doors open for us, relationships blossom, and we experience true joy! Many of us are looking for this joy and invest in new cars, jewelry, homes, plastic surgery, clothes, and anything external that might let us feel like we have succeeded. These things can bring some fun but for a short while. Very soon we start feeling empty and need more, or we start asking this question “IS there something more?” We can only find the joy, fun and excitement by investing in ourselves!
